Winter in Cassandra, PA

I had never been to the little town of Cassandra, PA until today.  Sitting between the towns of Lilly and Portage, the main attraction in the town apparently is the "World Famous" pedestrian bridge which spans the former Pennsylvania Railroad mainline.  Train traffic was a bit light, as I only saw 2 trains in the ninety minutes that I waited, but seeing (and hearing them) come and go is quite impressive.  The trains are traveling through a rather narrow cut here and those heading down the mountain (westbound) are traveling at a good speed and work up quite the roar as they rumble down the mountain.  The ice and snow made for some interesting scenes, but I'm ready for the Spring warmup.  I expect I'll be back to this location in the future.
